Fire sealing plays an important role in every building since, in case of fire, it prevents the spread of fire and smoke outside the borders of fire compartments. Fire protection of ventilation ducts and smoke and heat exhaust ducts

Fire protection in refineries

The effects of fire on crucial parts of the plant in the petrochemical industry are tested based on hydrocarbon fire curve. This curve mirrors burning of hydrocarbon where the temperature after 30 minutes rises over 1000 °C. The use of fire resistant vermiculite and Portland cement-based plaster helps us construct a protection layer resistant to the effects of fire, at the same time being resistant to weather and oil and lubricant leakage.

Fire protection in pharmaceutical industry

Pharmaceutical industry is very specific in terms of fire protection requirements. Everyday use of mostly flammable chemicals that can generate explosive fumes makes the selection of a fire protection solution very demanding. Construction of a system for ventilation and exhaust of generated fumes implies the use of polycarbonate pipe ducts, and fire safety is achieved by lining them with non-combustible materials.

Fire resistant glass walls

Fire protection requirements for glass walls are the same as for other partitions located on borders of fire compartments. For this reason, fire resistant glass is tested as part of the whole structure consisting of a frame, fire resistant glass and various fire resistant sealing elements.
